The American Fork Cavemen took on long time rivals, the Lone Peak Knights. The Cavemen had a strong start beginning the game with an interception by Stockten Bramwell and then imediatly after Boone Abbott ran in for a touchdown. The Cavemen, 16 seconds into the game, had the lead. The tread continued with great defense from the Cavemen and then American Fork’s offense putting up points every single time they got the ball. Lone Peak ended up putting 21 points on the board off of a few Cavemen miscues on defense and big plays from the Knights. In the end American Fork was too much and ended the game up 51-21 routing Lone Peak. Next Friday AF plays Granger in an out of region game. Granger has the top rushing offense in the state and look to give the Cavemen a good game.
